A MINORITY INSTITUTION OF HIGHER LEARNING, RUN BY THE KNANAYA CATHOLIC ARCHEPARCHY OF KOTTAYAM
The PG & Research Department of Commerce, St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor, successfully organised a national webinar titled “Academic Publishing and Research Outcomes: Strategies for Success” on 27 October 2026 through the online platform. The initiative aims to enhance research and publication skills among faculty members, research scholars, and students.
The first technical session, “Presenting Research Findings Appropriately,” was led by Prof. Dr. Gabriel Simon Thattil, Academic Director, Loyola College of Social Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram. He provided valuable insights into the effective presentation of research findings, structuring research papers, academic publication, and the importance of communicating research outcomes. The session also highlighted the significance of academic networking and future research collaborations.
The second session, “A Practical Guide to High-Impact Journal Publishing,” was handled by Sri. Jasimudeen S., UGC Librarian, St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor. The session offered practical guidance on journal publishing, helping participants understand publication opportunities and effective strategies for publishing in reputed academic journals.
The webinar marked a significant step towards strengthening research capabilities and promoting quality academic publications. Through expert-led sessions and interactive discussions, the programme provided valuable guidance to participants and encouraged them to pursue meaningful research and contribute to the academic community.
