A MINORITY INSTITUTION OF HIGHER LEARNING, RUN BY THE KNANAYA CATHOLIC ARCHEPARCHY OF KOTTAYAM
The Department of Physics, in association with the Research Cell and IQAC of St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor, successfully organized SPECTROMAT 2026 – Workshop on Structural & Spectroscopic Tools for Materials Research on 26–27 February 2026 in hybrid mode. Conducted in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and co-sponsored by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), the workshop provided both theoretical insights and hands-on exposure to advanced materials characterization techniques. The programme witnessed an overwhelming response, with participation expanding from the initially planned 30 to 80 attendees, including faculty, researchers, and students from various institutions.
