29th Celine K. Joseph Memorial Quiz Competition

The 29th Celine K. Joseph Memorial Quiz Competition was successfully conducted on January 29, 2026, at St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor. Organized by the Department of Physics, the competition aimed to nurture academic excellence, critical thinking, and teamwork among students from various institutions. The event brought together enthusiastic participants in an atmosphere of healthy competition and intellectual engagement, continuing the long-standing legacy of the Celine K. Joseph Memorial Quiz Competition.

The quiz was efficiently conducted by Mr. Nikhil Mohan P, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor, who served as the Quiz Master. His engaging approach and well-structured rounds ensured smooth conduct of the programme. A total of 10 teams representing 6 colleges participated in the competition, making it both lively and competitive. The diverse participation reflected the wide academic interest and reputation the quiz has earned over the years.

At the conclusion of the competition, Abhijith Hariprasad and Kshama P. Moosathu from Bharata Matha College, Thrikkakara, secured the first prize. The second prize was won by Paavan Binu Mathew and Sadhasivan M. J. from Marian College, Kuttikanam, while the third prize went to Godwin Mathew and Sindhoora M. V. from Marian College, Kottayam. The prizes were distributed by Dr. Sincy Joseph, Principal, St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor, who congratulated the winners and appreciated the organizers and participants for their efforts. The programme concluded successfully, reinforcing the academic spirit and commemorative significance of the event.
