Prof. C.J. Stephen (1970- 1998): A dedicated teacher and disciplinarian, Prof. C.J. Stephen joined the Department in 1970. Thorough and efficient, he frequently guided and advised his students, for he always had their interests at heart. An able administrator, he took over the Department's reins during the absence of Prof. Sunny Thomas. Later, when he retired in 1997, Prof. C.J. Stephen was HOD for a year before his retirement in 1998.
