Teachers’ Day was celebrated by the students of the department on 5 September 2016, honouring and acknowledging the faculty members.
The department, in conjunction with the Department of Oriental Languages and the Library, conducts Face-a-book Challenge on a periodical basis. In this programme, faculty and students present a book to the audience, which is followed by questions and discussions.
To facilitate the smooth running of the association and to promote a healthy rapport with its family members, meetings with students and their parents were arranged.
WALL MAGAZINE & BLOG
Space has been provided on the department blog and class walls for students of each semester to promote their creative faculty and writing skills.

Remedial teaching is being provided as per the needs of students. It is meant not only for the English main students but those who belong to other disciplines as well.
